Christine Anne Rossman

<p>Christine Rossman was born on July 30, 1951 to Gene and Betty Lou Rossman.&nbsp; She passed away on October13, 2020.&nbsp; She grew up in Michigan with her two sisters, Lynn and Patty, and her brother, Paul.&nbsp; She was a beautiful daughter, sister, and friend. With her lovely green eyes and sparkling personality, she was popular and well-loved. At 27, she had a daughter, Melissa, with whom she fell in love from the moment of her birth. Christine devoted her life to&nbsp;&nbsp;raising her bright and beautiful daughter, bringing up&nbsp; Melissa in the most generous and loving way that she could.</p> <p>Christine moved to Colorado and went to school to become a nurse.&nbsp; She committed her life to all of her patients, making sure&nbsp;they were well-taken care of, sometimes working 16 hour shifts. Christine had many interests and talents.&nbsp; She enjoyed sewing, taking walks in nature, preparing for holidays, with the fun of&nbsp; pumpkin carving, decorating, and fixing Thanksgiving dinners, and getting ready for Christmas.&nbsp; She loved swimming and visiting the hot springs to rest and relax. She enjoyed sailing with her parents and Melissa, visiting Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, and exploring Cayo Costa State Park. Each year, she and Melissa would go to Florida, Cancun, or Puerto Vallarta. Christine enjoyed family gatherings in&nbsp;Colorado, with everyone playing croquet&nbsp; while her dad barbequed. She always had the coffee pot ready and loved long conversations with those she&nbsp;cared about. She encouraged&nbsp;the people in her life with these words that she believed in so deeply: &quot;Anything is possible. You can do it!&quot;</p> <p>Christine is survived by her daughter, Melissa and son-in-law,&nbsp;Brent, who live in Oregon, her sister, Patricia of Michigan,&nbsp; her brother, Paul, who resides in Florida, her cousins Terry and Debbie of Arizona, her great aunt Barbara, who lives in Florida, her great uncle Richard and her niece Erica Raven.&nbsp; Christine was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou, her father, Gene, her sister, Lynne, and her niece, Corey. Christine will be lovingly remembered&nbsp;for her exuberance, sense of humor, spiritual&nbsp;search and her kindness toward those who knew her.</p> <p>Heritage Funeral &amp; Cremation Services of Lafayette is handling arrangements.</p>

Christine Rossman was born on July 30, 1951 to Gene and Betty Lou Rossman.  She passed away on October13, 2020.  She grew up in Michigan with her two sisters, Lynn and Patty, and her brother, Paul.  She was a beautiful daughter, sister, and friend. With her lovely green eyes and sparkling personality, she was popular and well-loved. At 27, she had a daughter, Melissa, with whom she fell in love from the moment of her birth. Christine devoted her life to  raising her bright and beautiful daughter, bringing up  Melissa in the most generous and loving way that she could.
