Ralph Francis Moore, age 84 of Murphy, NC passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Union General Hospital. Mr. Moore was born April 6, 1936, in Hartford, CT to the late Allen G. Moore and the late Isabella F. Tracey. Ralph has been a resident of Murphy, NC for over twenty years. Mr. Moore served in the Navy from 1960-1984 and was known as SCPO (E-8). After pursuing a long career with the Navy he worked for Western Carolina Regional Airport in Andrews, NC. He is preceded in death by his parents Allen G. Moore and Isabella F. Tracey, wife, Dorothy Moore, and brother William Thomason Moore. Survivors include sister, Catherine Carlin, nieces, Debbie Harris and Dianna Oppel, and friends Debra (Donald) Lajoie and Lori Cseh.
