Jose Ocon Quezada

Jose Ocon Quezada, 76, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation for Jose will begin 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel, also 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Funeral Service is at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory with interment to follow at the Ector County Cemetery, Odessa Garden Section II. 

Jose was born in Coyame, Chihuahua, Mexico on March 17, 1944 to Nepomuceno and Maria Pilar Quezada.  He married Juana Martinez Quezada on April 3, 1972.  He worked many years for Geophysical Service, Inc Seismographic in Pecos, Texas and retired in 1991.  Jose was a loving husband, wonderful dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather.  He will be missed dearly!

Jose is preceded in death by his parents Nepomuceno and Maria Pilar Quezada.

Jose is survived by his loving wife, Juana Quezada; children, Linda Mendoza, Patrick Duran, David Duran, Sulema Duran, Joe Duran, Delia Duran, Elizabeth Rubio, Danica Legarreta; brothers, Prudencio Quezada and Roberto Quezada; sisters,  Manuela Saenz and Hermila Hernandez; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are as follows: Frank Mendoz, Sammy Duran, Joe Duran, Aaron Cortez, Dominic Rubio, Eduardo Legarreta.
