Donna Marie Dohoney

Donna Marie (Voyles) Dohoney, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 15,2020. She was born on June 29, 1946, to Emerson “Bud” and Leona Mae (Sturms) Voyles, in Fredericksburg, IN. Donna married Michael Dohoney on May 14, 1994. She worked as a Nursing Director for many years, retiring from Guerin Woods in Georgetown, IN. Donna loved fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Bosler, and Carol Byerley; and a brother Calvin Voyles.

Donna is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” Dohoney; Son, John E. (Kelly) Colin; a stepson Steven Dohoney; Stepdaughters, Karen (Danny) Libka, Kristin (Jason) Pilling, and Kelly (William) Daggett; two grandchildren, Sydney Colin, and Rancen Colin; Six Step-Grandchildren, Josh Lewis, Jason Lewis, Jacob Pilling, Connor Daggett, Aaron Daggett, and Alyssa Daggett.

A funeral service will be held at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, IN, on Monday, October 19, 2020, at 12p.m. Visitation will be on Sunday October 18, 2020 at Love Funeral Home from 4p.m. to 8p.m. and again on Monday from 10a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Donna”s name to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association at 8401 Colesville Road, Suite 200 Silver Springs, MD 20910.
