Ernest Matthew Maki of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of Elaine Maki, passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at the age of 82 years. Ernest leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Elaine; children Randy (Cheryl) Maki and their son, Matt (Stacey) and daughter, Ashley; Brian (Sheri) Maki and their children, Ryan (Mary), Kelsi (Jason), Derek (Lisa) and Kristin; and daughter, Tammy (Larry) Mastel and their children, Brandon and Dillon; eleven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ernest was predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Irene Maki and two sisters, Hilda and Fay. Ernest loved the land and was forever a cowboy at heart. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he could spend with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
