Betty Noelle, 89, of Equality, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the Eldorado Rehab and Healthcare. Betty was born in Hardin County, IL on February 23, 1931 to the late Virgil and Jesse (Roland) Tite. She was a member of the Eldroado First Christian Church. She owned and operated Tri-State Live Stock Company with her husband Paul. She also worked for Dennis Driskell Insurance Company and the Farm Bureau in Gallatin County. On July 31, 1948 she married Paul Noelle and he preceded her in death July 26, 1988. She is survived by a son, Bill (Kathy) Noelle of Equality and a daughter, Paula (Roger) McGowan of Evansville, IN. Five grandchildren, Shannon (Jim) Wells of Lousiville, KY, Matthew McGowan of Casey, IL, Jill McGowan Mattingley of Bardstown, KY, Josh (Sarah) Noelle of Equality and Lori (Adam) Brooks of Equality and seven great grandchildren, Mattie McGowan, Macie McGowan, Audrey Brooks, Hank Brooks, Ryan Noelle and Sloane Noelle and Luke Mattingley. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Tite and two sisters, Ruth Collins and Brenda Crawford. Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Creek Cemetery with Scott Pilkington officiating. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery. Those attending are asked to meet at the cemetery Memorials may be made in her memory to First Christian Church or Hospice and envelopes will be available.
