Edward "Ding" A. LeBoeuf Obituary

Edward “Ding” A. LeBoeuf, 57, of Battle Creek, passed away unexpectedly, at work in Traverse City, October 12, 2020.  He was born March 20, 1963 in Battle Creek, to Edward and Doris (Burke) LeBoeuf.  He was a 1981 Springfield High Graduate.  He was a long time Battle Creek business owner at Springfield Transmission and Auto Service then opened LeBoeuf’s Automotive.  He was an instructor at Jackson & Kellogg Community Colleges.  At the time of his passing he was a LIUNA 1098 laborer.  Ding was a member of the Avengers Motorcycle Club for nineteen years.  He enjoyed spending time riding his Harley with his wife, friends, and club brothers. Ding was loved by so many. He was happiest spending time with his family, especially planning adventures with his grandchildren. His infectious laughter, presence, magnetic personality and fluent Dinginese will all be greatly missed.

Ding was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Deborah Gail LeBoeuf. He was united in marriage on May 31, 2008 to his one true love and soulmate, Theresa “Gadget” (Towery) LeBoeuf, she survives.  Also surviving are sons; Edward LeBoeuf Jr. of Colon, MI., Shane (Stephanie) LeBoeuf of Union City, MI., Brent Clinton II, and a daughter; Courtney Bowlin, both of Battle Creek, sister; Judith (Steve) Stanfield of Bellevue, MI., grandchildren; Kendra “Sweetpea”, Bryce “Peanut”, Chelsea, Cameron, Lillianna, Nieces; Lindsey, Stephanie and Alyssa Stanfield, Nephew; Gage Wells, Club Mother; Kevin “Viper” (Ginny) Burdett.  In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.  Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home with memorial service to follow at 2pm at the funeral home.  Due to covid-19 state regulations, face masks are required, and social distancing will apply.
