Virginia Anderson, age 79, of Lineville, AL, formerly of Douglasville, GA,   passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2020.  She was born in Liberty, KY on October 01,1941 to the late Clyde Goodin and the late Docey Roy Goodin.  Virginia worked as a nurse’s aide at Parkway Hospital and Douglasville Nursing & Rehabilitation for several years, She was Baptist by faith. Virginia is survived by her husband, Raymond Anderson; children: Annette Harmon and her husband, L.G., Jr., Ricky Anderson and his wife, Kathy, Randy Anderson, Mark Allan Anderson; grandchildren: Crystal Waters and her husband, Larry, Dustin Wayne Anderson, Jessica Ellis and her husband, Ryan, Jennifer Clark and her husband, David, Brad Anderson and his wife, Laura, Lauren Anderson, Allie Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Sawyer Anderson; 16 great grandchildren; sisters: Dixie Goodin and Gail Goodin; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers: Darrell Goodin and Clyde Goodin, Jr.   The family will receive friends on Saturday October 17, 2020 from 10:00 AM til 1:00 PM at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Dr. Billy Godwin officiating. Interment will follow the service at Shiloh Baptist Church in Lineville, AL at 3:00 PM Central time.
