Guido M. Acciaioli Obituary

Guido M. Acciaioli passed away on October 12, 2020 at the age of 88. He was a kind, warm, generous man with a big heart and spirit. Above all, Guido’s family was the most important thing to him and he loved them dearly. Guido was a Marine Corp Veteran who proudly served during the Korean War. He was an accomplished musician and played both the clarinet and saxophone. Guido worked as a design engineer at Chrysler for over 30 years. He coached Royal Oak Little League Baseball for many years. After retiring, Guido loved to travel extensively with his wife, Mary. Loving husband of Mary for 65 years. Beloved father of James (Pat), John (Susan), Jerry (Rae), and Joseph (Susan). Proud grandfather of Gina, Jeffrey (Hana), John (Cassie), David, Julia, Christopher, Allison, Stephen, Matthew, and great-grandfather of Leilah, Lily, Zoey, Cypress, Clover. Dear brother of Marge and the late Lydia. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 1-4pm and 5-8pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave. (btwn 13-14 Mile), (248) 549-0500. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, October 16, 2020, 10am at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, 32340 Pierce St., Beverly Hills. Visitation at church begins 9:30am.
