<p>Bill Lee Delap, 90, resident of Broughton, IL passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Ferrell Hospital.&nbsp; Bill was born October 10, 1930 in Broughton to the late Everett Earl and Virgie (Bruce) Delap.&nbsp; He married the former Lavada Imogene &ldquo;Jean&rdquo; Hudson who preceded him in death November 23, 2013. He and Jean were married 59 years. He was a lifelong farmer in the Broughton Community.&nbsp; He was the oldest living member of the Broughton United Methodist Church.&nbsp; It was his heartfelt joy to be signing his favorite hymns like How Great Thou Art and Amazing Grace while his wife played the piano.&nbsp; He is rejoicing with his Heavenly Father in Heaven with the love of his life Jean. &nbsp;He was a member of the Hamilton County Farm Bureau, Hamilton County Telephone Co-op, and was a past Village of Broughton Trustee. &nbsp;Bill is survived by two sons: David Lee Delap of Broughton, Kevin Lee (Melinda Lou) Delap of Broughton, a sister: Marjorie May of Eden Prairie, MN., a sister-in-law: Joyce Mitchell of Marysville, OH., a brother-in-law: Odis Hudson of Mt. Morris, IL., three grandchildren: Michelle Lee (A. Garrett) Wargel of Equality, IL., Kristina Lee Delap of Broughton, Danielle Lee (Dustin B.) Owens of Cave-in-rock, IL., five great grandchildren: Donovan James Delap, Phaidra Eilidh Delap, Serena Nikole Morris, Carson Drew Owens and Karter Cash Owens. In addition to his parents and wife Bill was preceded in death by a brother Hal Delap. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado with Rev. David Cochran, Rev. Bob Manier, and Rev. Paul Brown officiating. Funeral services will be streaming live on the funeral home&rsquo;s Facebook page. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the funeral home. Social distancing is strongly suggested and facemasks will be required to enter the facility. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery in Broughton.&nbsp;In addition to flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Broughton United Methodist Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
