Jacqueline Annette Haydal

Jacqueline Haydal, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home October 10, 2020 due to congestive heart failure. She was born in 1930, in Tenmile, Oregon the daughter of Lloyd Watson & Audrey West Watson. She eventually married and had three beautiful children. She was always known for giving everyone sweets and gift cards, anything she thought would brighten someone’s day. One of her classic sayings, that will always be remembered, “I’m never so good that I couldn’t be better, but never so bad that I couldn’t be worse.” Jackie is survived by her daughter Sherrie; sister Iva; brother Bud; granddaughter Susan; grandsons Erik and Kevin; great-grandsons Michael, Eli and Jesse; and great-granddaughters Kacey and Josie. Preceded in death by daughter Jane; husband Henning (Hank); and son Jimmy. Everyone knew of Jackie as a fun, sassy, and loving individual; whom in her earlier years, downhill skied, owned and flew her own plane, and was an active member in the Lions club with her late husband Henning. She was a fantastic mother who raised three generations. Jackie will be greatly missed by not only her family, but everyone she met along her nine decades of life. Funeral services will be held in Grants Pass, Oregon at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.
