<p>VILLE PLATTE – Funeral services will be held at a 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 for Robert Donald Delafosse, Sr., 77, who passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 in Pine Prairie, Louisiana.</p> <p>Father Andrew Killeen, associate pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, will be celebrant of the mass and conduct funeral services.</p> <p>Burial will take place in New St. Ann’s Cemetery.</p> <p>He is survived by his daughter, Debra Delafosse Binder and husband, Bob of Mareaux, LA; two sisters, Verby Fontenot of Lake Charles and Myrtle Landreneau of Mamou; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his parents, Brunnier and Eula Phillips Delafosse; son, Robert Delafosse, Jr.; and eight siblings, Ray Delafosse, Hurley “Jim” Delafosse, Verlon Delafosse, Emma Lou Tate, Jeanette Comeaux, JD Delafosse, Hazel Ewert, and Hersey Delafosse.</p> <p>At the request of the family, visitation will be observed at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church Ville Platte on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 10:30 AM until time of service. </p> <p>Family and friends may leave condolences for the Delafosse family at www.ardoinfuneralhomes.com.</p> <p>Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Ville Platte is in charge of arrangements.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
