Maureen C. Percle

Maureen C. Percle, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Thibodaux, LA passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral for 11:00 am, followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Tommy Percle; children, Valerie J. Brown, Allison P. Chiasson (Eric), and Brandon Percle; 7 grandchildren; sister, Vicki Cunningham; her fur baby, Lulu the Cat; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Joyce Cunningham; maternal and paternal grandparents; brother, Craig Cunningham; and nieces, Cherise Percle and Shelley Cunningham. She was known for her humor, sarcastic wit, and her love and care for all animals, whether it was a stray cat or an alligator. She was the type that put others before her own needs, always had a meal prepared for her family, friends, and even a stranger, and spent most of her time outdoors in her garden and fishing. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the The Cancer Center at the Thibodaux Regional Medical Center in Maureen's name.
