<p>Patrick Shane Obermiller, 40 of Grand Island, formerly of Farwell, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home in Grand Island.&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul.&nbsp; Interment will be in the Kelso Cemetery near Farwell.&nbsp; Pastor Bob Carlson will be officiating.&nbsp; Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home.&nbsp;&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the local EMT&rsquo;s.&nbsp; Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul, Nebraska is assisting the family.&nbsp;</p> <p>Patrick was born in Hastings, NE on July 20, 1980.&nbsp; He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour&rsquo;s Lutheran Church in Dannebrog, where he was baptized and confirmed.&nbsp; He enjoyed growing up on the farm, going to sales with his Dad, and had a strong interest in International &amp; John Deere tractors.&nbsp; All the animals on the farm were great but the dogs, Foxy &amp; Cindy as well as the cats were very special to Patrick.&nbsp; Patrick graduated from Centura High School in 1998, later moving to Grand Island where he stayed with Janet &amp; Marion &ldquo;Doug&rdquo; Douglas while he worked at Mid Nebraska Individual Services in Grand Island.&nbsp; He later moved to a house with several other roommates working at Goodwill Services of Grand Island.&nbsp; Since 2014, he&rsquo;s been with Integrated Life Choices where he made many friends who became more like family.&nbsp; He did some odd jobs for Ray O&rsquo;Connor of Grand Island and really enjoyed spending time with Ray and his sons.&nbsp;</p> <p>Those left to cherish his memory include his cousins, Cynthia &amp; Timothy Aitken &amp; family of Dannebrog; Tana Fuson Brogden &amp; David Brogden &amp; family of Oregon,&nbsp;LeRoy &amp; Virginia Teichmeier &amp; family of&nbsp;Ravenna, Angie Teichmeier &amp; family of Rockville, the late Mr. &amp; Mrs. Owen Dethlefs family,&nbsp;Frank &amp; Charlotte Case &amp; family of&nbsp;Lincoln, Kenneth &amp; Sherill&nbsp;Teichmeier &amp; family of&nbsp;Texas,&nbsp;Dewey &amp; Colleen&nbsp;Mieth &amp; family of&nbsp;Rockville, Mr.&nbsp;&amp; Mrs.&nbsp;Earl Teichmeier &amp; family of&nbsp;Loup City, Al &amp; Peggy Golden &amp; family of&nbsp;Bridgeport; friends, Delvin &amp; Yvonne Baldwin of Farwell, Todd &amp; Julie Nitsch &amp; family of Boelus, Grant &amp; Sandra Davis &amp; family of Dannebrog, Glen &amp; Ina Dudley of Farwell, Kelly &amp; Beth Cumming &amp; family of Dannebrog Ryan &amp; Lisa Jerabek &amp; family of Farwell, Ted&nbsp;Kohtz &amp; family of Boelus, David Lukasiewicz &amp; family of Grand Island, Susan Kyhn &amp; family of Boelus, Robert &amp; Vicki Esau &amp; family of Texas, David &amp; Paula Snider&nbsp;&amp; family of Lincoln, Judy Rodish&nbsp;&amp; family of Iowa, Joyce (&amp; the late Udell) Jess &amp; family of Grand Island, Gerald &amp; Peggy Jess of Farwell, Irvin &amp; Mary Ann Baldwin &amp; family of Cairo, David &amp; Rashelle Grim &amp; family of Farwell.&nbsp;</p> <p>Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry &amp; Claudia Obermiller; sister, Christy Obermiller; grandparents, Everett Garrett, Helen &amp; Russell Tobis, Elmer &amp; Frieda Obermiller.</p>

Patrick Shane Obermiller, 40 of Grand Island, formerly of Farwell, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at his home in Grand Island.
