On Thursday, October 8, 2020 James “Jim” Gary Phillips of Cold Lake, Alberta passed away at the age of 67 years. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating & camping at Marie Lake. He loved to spend time with his grandkids. He was very proud to be called Grampie. Jim is lovingly survived by his wife of 47 years: Darlene Phillips of Cold Lake; daughter: Angie (Greg) Olson; son: Eric Phillips (Carol Holba); nine grandchildren: Layla, Kayley, Harlee, Oliver, Coalton, Daniel, Juanita, Dalease, Dolan; three brothers: Davie Phillips, Glen Phillips, Robert Phillips; four sisters: Darlene Jennings, Anne Nason, Pam O’Leary, Jackie Phillps. Jim was predeceased by his parents: John & Mary Phillips; sister: Doreen Phillips. As per Jim’s wishes there will be no formal service. There will be an informal gathering held at a later date.
