Bobby Joe Bartlett, age 82 of Houston, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Bob was born on September 27, 1938, in Austin, Texas to his parents Morse Scott Bartlett & Clara Mae Ellison. Bob grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated from Milby High School. Bob played baseball in his youth and that love for sports never changed. He was an avid sports enthusiast, but his favorite sport was by far football. Bob loved the marine supply industry and spent his adult life as a sales representative in that industry. He worked hard to create the company Inter/coastal Supply that he sold when he retired. Bobs love for the marine industry and artistic abilities inspired his journey in tinkering with model boats and airplanes which was one of his favorite hobbies in his retirement years. Bob was a man of great integrity and when he gave you his word it was always honored. Bob had a sweet and kind soul and would never turn down a request for help. He was a great friend to many and dearly love by his family. Bob is survived by his 3 daughters & their spouses Lisa & David Sandifer, Bobbi & Kenny Richard, and Lori & Sean Larivee and stepchildren Kim Gann & Trent & Bonnie Weido. Bob leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Bob is preceded in death by his wife Gwen Blankenship Bartlett, and sister Barbara Nell Walker.
