Graveside funeral services for Patricia Parker, 89, will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Brushy Cemetery in the Flo Community of Leon County, Texas. Bro. Don Craft will officiate the service. Patricia Ann Parker was born to William & Gladys (Mealer) Sibley on June 29, 1931 in Dallas, Texas. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Eddy, Sr. and loving mother to her three children. No one could have asked for a better mother than Patricia. During WWII, Patricia was a messenger at Chance Vought in Arlington, where the Corsair was being assembled. She also spent some time working as a teacher. She loved to travel, traveling all across the United States, England and Scotland. Most of all, Patricia adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was always the most important part of Patricia’s life. Patricia passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones October 5, 2020 at her home in Mesquite. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Eddy Parker, Sr.; son, James Robert Parker; grandson, James Cox and brothers, William and Hugh David Sibley. Surviving family members include son, Eddy Parker, Jr. and wife, Brandy of Madison, CT; daughter, Laura Lynn Cox and husband, Jimmy of Mesquite; grandchildren, Rusty Parker, Jacob Cox and wife, Victoria and Matthew Cox and wife, Summer, as well as great-grandchildren, Nicole, Riley, Nicholas, Connor, Mason and Anderson Cox. Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
