On Sunday, October 4th, 2020, Abel Sandoval, loving father, grandfather, and husband was called by Our Father in Heaven at the age of 81. Abel was born on November 4th, 1939 in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Abel was preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Benavidez Sandoval, father Manuel Sandoval, mother, Maria del Carmen Perales, his sister, Yolanda Sandoval Martinez, and brother, Feliciano Sandoval. He is survived by his seven children Maria del Carmen, Manuel, Hector, Patricia, Abel Jr., Gabriela, and Bladimir, his wife Yolanda Olmos, his grandchildren, Idalia, Ricardo, Clarissa, Jennifer, Miguel Angel, Viviana, Julissa, Lizbeth, Alfredo, Manuel Jr., Nicole, Andrew, Vanessa, Alek, Denise, and Jesus and great grandchildren, Kevin, Edgar Jr., Daleyza, Iker, Edrian and Mateo. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October, 7th at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX from 5:00-9:00 PM. With a 7 p.m. Rosary a transfer to Mexico will follow after services. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. (May include bandanas or sewn or cloth face coverings).
