Diana Romero

Diana R. Romero passed from this life on October 4, 2020 in Harlingen, Texas.  She was born to the late Maria Oralia and Robert G. Rodriguez on November 12, 1969 in Brownsville, Texas.

Diana loved the outdoors. She enjoyed dancing, running, swimming, spending time on the beach, and traveling. She treasured time spent with her family and, as a Domestic Goddess, making her home a very special and welcoming place.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert G. and Maria O. Rodriguez; sister, Mary Helen Beeching; brothers, Joseph Rodriguez and David Lee Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Aurora Romero; and sister-in-law, Gracie Mendoza.

Left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Javier Romero, and son Javier Emmanuel “Javi” Romero; her twin brother, Daniel (Vero) Rodriguez, as well as her other siblings, Robert (Deya) Rodriguez, Angie Rodriguez, Deborah Garza, Frank (Susie) Rodriguez, Roy (Alma) Rodriguez, Andrew (Fredis) Rodriguez, Susie Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Rodriguez; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Diana’s family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at San Benito Funeral Home.  A time of praise and worship will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 o’clock Friday evening.   (Click the link below to view the Friday evening service via live-stream.) Rite of Committal and interment will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
