Linda Gail McArthur Hicks, 70, of Moss Point, MS, passed to her eternal rest and reward on Monday, October 6, 2020 in Mobile, AL. Linda was born on October 25, 1949 in Philadelphia, MS to the late Ray and Sudie McArthur. She was a longtime member of Family Life Pentecostal Church where she enjoyed preparing many meals for church gatherings through the years. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Hicks and by her brother, Ronnie McArthur. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Brenda McArthur; brother, Ricky (Martha) McArthur; sister, Sherron (Doyle) Parker; sister-in-law, Melanie McArthur; along with three step-children and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends. A visitation for Linda will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Family Life Pentecostal Church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the church beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Archie Holley and Bro. Clark Finley officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home, locally owned and operated, in Escatawpa/Moss Point, MS is assisting with arrangements.
