<p>Phillips, Robert Jay - Age 70, of Flint Township, died October 6, 2020. No public services will be held at this time. A memorial will be announced in the future. Robert was born October 27, 1949 in Detroit, the son of Stewart G. and Phyllis K. (Payne) Phillips. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Robert worked in tool and die with C&J Industries, the family business. He also owned his own construction businesses over the years. Robert is survived by his children, Jason (Heather) Phillips and Lisa (Thomas) Mabry; grandchildren, Cody, Joe, Hailey, Alex, Payton, and Tamarah; brother, Stewart A.
