<p>AHLANDER, Doris Lucille - Age 92, of Flint Twp., died Tuesday October 6, 2020. Funeral services will be held 1PM Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 11AM until time of service on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to Carriage Town Ministries 605 Garland St, Flint, MI 48532. Doris was born July 29, 1928 in New Haven Township, Michigan, the daughter of Phillip and Eva (Ackroyd) Holzhausen. Doris married Doyle Bryan Ahlander on November 24, 1955 in Modesto CA. Mrs. Ahlander retired from Carman School District, teaching at Randels Elementary School, in the 4th grade with 28 years of service. Doris enjoyed spending time with family and traveling with her husband and sisters. She also enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, and was an avid cookie maker. Surviving are: daughter, Laurie (Mark) Robert of CA; son, Kurt (Marsha) Ahlander of Flint; grandchildren, Anthony Luckett of Flint, Terra Luckett of AZ, Terry (Fiancee', Sara Anthony) Ahlander of Ferndale; great grand children, Quanna Rowell, Alexus Luckett, Allana Luckett, and Angelica Lopez. Doris is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Miller of AR, Marlyn Florey of Midland and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Barbara Steele; brothers, Glen, Phillip, Wayne and Richard Holzhausen.
