Hancock, Maryland
Mary Joan Mills, age 81, of Hancock, Md., passed away on October 5, 2020 at her home.
Born March 21, 1939, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she is the daughter of the late Howard and Nonsetta (Hobday) Stotler; and the widow of Frank Alvin Mills, who passed away September 25, 2002.
Mary worked for orchards in Hancock for over thirty years.
She loved to spend time with her family and friends, and shop for antiques; and she loved her animals.
Mary is survived by three sons, Randy Stotler, of Shippensburg, Pa., Michael Breeden, in Germany, and George Breeden, Jr., of Hancock; three daughters, Sandra VanGosen, and Charlotte Zies, both of Hancock, and Michele Mummert, of Big Pool, Md.; four brothers; seven sisters; sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
A memorial service to honor Mary will be held at the convenience of her family.
