James Earl Trull

James Earl Trull was born in Corsicana, Texas on December 7, 1954 to Richard Floyd Trull and Evelyn Lou Lane, and passed away October 6, 2020 in Corsicana, Texas. James worked for the City of Corsicana in the utility department for over 40 years. Always seen wearing his trade-mark cowboy hat, wrangler jeans, and boots. James never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, with his signature smile and happy demeanor. James lived his life as a devoted servant of God, whether it was playing his guitar in church, or on his missionary trips to Africa and Costa Rica. He was also a devoted family man who loved spending as much time as he could with them; traveling the country, fishing, hunting, camping, or sports activities with his grandchildren. James adored his wife Cynthia, with whom he shared a long and happy marriage of 47 years. Together, they had 3 children: Sherry, Kelly, and Christie. James was preceded in death by his father Richard Trull, his sister Debra Ball, and his granddaughter Whitney Douthit. James is survived by his mother Evelyn Trull Young of Bazette, his wife Cynthia Trull of Mildred, children: Sherry and Jeff Shumate of Waxahachie, Kelly and Michelle Trull of Eureka, daughter Christie Trull of Corsicana, and Tim and wife Kelli Brooks of Corsicana. Brothers: Donald Trull and wife Connie of Waco, Ricky Trull and wife Sherry of Bazette, Randy Trull and wife Paula of Corsicana. Grandchildren: Anthony and wife Adriana Potts, Brittany and husband Donnie LaRue, Jacob and wife Desiree Brooks, Kailey Broadway, Lindsey and husband Manuel Suarez, Jamie Tepe, Hagen Trull, Devin Rash, Treston Rash, Mckenzie Rash, Breylon Vanibuls, and Angie Young. Great-Grandchildren: Alex, Connor, Kelton, Levi, Eli, Evaleigh, Elias, Jaxon, Peyton, and Houston. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2020 at Corley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Central Independent Baptist Church (101 S. 30th Street, Corsicana) at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Gary Winters officiating. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Mildred. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons: Anthony Potts, Jacob Brooks, Devin Rash, Treston Rash, Hagen Trull, and Breylon Vanibuls.
