A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Jessica “Jessie” Deville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2020 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Deville with Reverend Albi Mulloth, Reverend Anthony Dharmaraj, and Reverend Ritchie Craig officiating. Burial will be in Edgar Deville Cemetery, Deville under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Pineville. The family requests that visitation be observed at Hixson Brothers, Pineville Wednesday, October 7, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and continued at the funeral home Thursday from 8:30-10:15 a.m. Pallbearers will be Darrell Thompson, Brandon Franks, Mykah Kennedy, Hanlin Creekkiller, Zack McCormick, Patrick Deville, Milton Deville, Auston Harrison, and Wyatt Deville. Mrs. Deville, 42, of Deville, passed from this life on Sunday, October, 4, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Deville was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Deville. During her working career she was a Pharmacy Tech for 25 years. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and got along with everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Milton and Irene Deville, and maternal grandfather, R.E. Parker. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Aaliyah Franks, and Ava Dyer; parents, Hardy Wayne and Mary Ann Sayer Deville; grandmother, Betty Sayer; grandfather, Carl Sayer; sister, Andrea Thompson and husband, Darrell; nephews, and niece, Brandon Franks, Mykah Kennedy, and Katelynn Franks, and numerous other family and friends.
