Jacquelyne Ruth Fish, 76, of Presque Isle passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020 on her 56th wedding anniversary at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Jacquelyne Ruth Withey was born on April 9, 1944 in Howell, Michigan to the late Jack and Ruth (Beurmann) Withey. On October 3, 1964, she married James Fish. Jacquelyne taught 1st grade at Hartland Public Schools, retiring in 1995. She loved the young children and kept in contact with many over the years. Jacquelyne planted many flowers every spring. She enjoyed camping, traveling, playing pinochle, and her many dogs over the years.

Jacquelyne was generous, caring, courageous, and thoughtful of others. She was a wonderful wife – the best! Jacquelyne was always upbeat in spite of her many medical problems.

Surviving are her husband, Jim; sister, Glenely Withey; sister-in-law, Ann Fish; and nine nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.
