Betty Sue O’Neal Gay, 75, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020, in Baytown.

Betty was born January 19, 1945 in Red River County near Clarksville, to parents; Albert and Vetress Mosley O’Neal, and has been a long-time resident of Baytown.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, homemaker, and member of The Lighthouse Church.  During her church membership, she assisted with childcare and custodial work.  Betty also enjoyed crafts.

Mrs. Gay was preceded in death by her father:  Albert O’Neal, mother:  Vetress Mosley Johnson, and her sister:  Patricia O’Neal.  She is survived by her husband:  Bobby Gay, daughter:  Elizabeth Muñoz and husband Wilman, grandchildren:  Trinity Jordan and Josiah David Muñoz, special cousin:  Treva Mayhan, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11.m., Tuesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown with interment following at Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston.
