Laura Cormier

<p>Laura Cormier of Foyer St-Thomas, Memramcook (formerly of Old Shediac Rd) passed away on October 1, 2020 at her residence at the age of 95. Born in Memramcook on June 27, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Rufin and Marie (LeBlanc) Belliveau. She worked as a cook for LeBlanc Restaurant until her retirement. She is survived by her three daughters, Janice (Normand) Boudreau and Aline (Gerald) Saulnier of Old Shediac Rd and Yolande (late Mel Engen) Cormier of Calgary, three sons, Claude (Barb) Cormier, Dollard (Myrna) Cormier and Conrad (Julie) Cormier of Old Shediac Rd, eight grandchildren, Marcel, Denise, Julia, Andr&eacute;, Johnathan, Teadra, Patrick and Danielle, four great grandchildren, Sebastien, France, Chlo&eacute; and Malika, one sister Marie-Anne (Claude) Belanger of St-Jean de Richelieu, PQ, three brothers, &nbsp;Laurie (Marg) Belliveau of Moncton, Leo (Rejeanne) Belliveau of LaColle, PQ and Joe (Jeanita) Belliveau of Old Shediac Rd and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ernest, one great grandchild, Cedrik and two brothers Albert and Yvon. Visitations will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook on Monday October 5 from 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday October 6 at the Saint Thomas de Memramcook Roman Catholic Church, St-Joseph at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery. Donations can be made to the Fondation des amis du Foyer St-Thomas for the residents activities or donor&rsquo;s choice. The family wishes to thank the personnel of the Foyer St-Thomas for their special care they gave their mother.</p>
