Landon Morris Yetter
<p> </p> <p>Landon Morris Yetter, 83, passed away at his residence in Hot Springs County, September 29, 2020.</p> <p>One of eight children Morris was born October 17, 1936 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to William and Mabel (Baird) Yetter.</p> <p>On November 17, 1958 he married Barbara Jean Clark in Cody, WY.</p> <p>Drafted into the US Army in 1959 he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska. Following his discharge he and his brothers owned and operated Yetter Brothers Sawmill for several years. </p> <p>Moving to Thermopolis in 1968 he was employed by Canyon Concrete driving truck. Morris then worked for Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital as a maintenance man for nineteen years.</p> <p>Morris enjoyed woodworking, gardening, camping, fishing and playing several string instruments making music.</p> <p>Survivors include his daughters, Connie Yetter of Thermopolis and Vonnie Reinbold of Rock Springs, WY; grandson, Brandon Yetter and brothers, George and Skinny Yetter, both of Thermopolis. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara in 2013, and siblings, Forrest, Sam, and Mark Yetter, Mabel Fitzpatrick and Emma Thomas.</p> <p>No services are planned at this time. </p> <p>Mortimore Funeral Home is assisting the family.
