Lori Diane (Terpstra) Anderson passed away peacefully at Partners in Care Hospice in Bend, Oregon, on Monday, September 28th, at the age of 54. At the time of her death, Lori had bravely battled cancer for over four years. Lori was born in Mankato, Minnesota, to Clarence Ival and Evelyn Helen (Maday) Terpstra; she was the 10th child of 10. In 1972, when Lori was 6, the family moved to Arizona; Lori was raised there and attended Greenway High School. Lori married John Anderson in 1985, and in 1991 they moved to the Northwest. Loris only child, Courtney Hellen, was born in December of 1992. The family moved to Bend, Oregon in 1995. Lori and John divorced in 2005. Lori worked at Lancair, Deschutes County Road Department, and as a caregiver. She enjoyed travel and loved being her daughters mother. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donny and sister Rita. She is survived by her daughter Courtney; sisters Sharon, Marilyn, Nancy and Denise; and brothers Ed, Kevin and Wayne. She had many nieces and nephews who she adored.
