Margaret Effie (Brady) Duke, 98, Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020. She was born April 10, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Glen Forest and Hallie (Kimbro) Brady. Margaret enjoyed traveling, shopping and going antiquing. She was a longtime member of the Meridian Church of God. She is survived by her sister of Virginia Sponcil; two nephews, Gary Joe (Lorri) Bontrager and Gregory Allen; and a host of additional friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Halqua Duke in 2008 and siblings, Thomas Brady and Bernice Polly. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 6 from 10:30 -11:30 AM at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis followed by the funeral at 11:30 AM. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery.
