A Celebration of Life for Raymond Rodriguez will be held at 2 pm Friday, October 2, 2020, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Santos Gamez officiating. Raymond passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at his home in Brownfield. He was born on February 7, 1967, to Jesse and Isabel Rodriguez in Brownfield. Raymond was always happy, kind, and always smiling. He was a hardworking, good with his hands, always willing to help, and well respected. He was an awesome grandfather that loved his family. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, and reciting scripture. There was never a dull moment, Raymond was always cracking jokes. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Martinez, and Jesse Sr. and Manuela Rodriguez, step-grandfather, Lee Reyes, two uncles, Pete Rodriguez, Leo Martinez, and aunt, Mary Flores. Raymond is survived by his parents, Jesse and Isabel Rodriguez; one daughter, Veronica Garza and husband JJ Garza; three sons, Isaac Mendez and wife Elisha Mendez, Markee Rodriguez, Timmy Perez III; 8 grandchildren; two brothers, David Rodriguez and wife Sunny Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez and wife Amber Rodriguez; one sister, Patricia Rodriguez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
