Patricia A. Bernard
<p>Patricia ‘Pat’ A. Bernard, of Pulaski, Pa. passed away on September 29, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on August 8, 1951 in Kittanning, Pa. she was the daughter of the late Paul T. and Margaret J. Shaffer Bernard.</p><p><br></p><p>Pat was a graduate of Slippery Rock State College where she earned her Bachelor's Degree. </p><p><br></p><p>Pat had worked in the Mortgage Department of the banking industry for several years until she retired.</p><p><br></p><p>Pat was very active as a volunteer in the community over the years in such programs as, Adult Literacy Program of Lawrence County and the New Castle Public Library. She served many years as Chair and Co-Chairwoman for the March of Dimes Walks that took place in New Castle. Pat also volunteered as a driver for the American Cancer Society.</p><p><br></p><p>Pat is survived by her fiancé, Robert A. Morris of Pulaski, her brother, Michael Bernard and his fiancé Debbie Zona of Ellwood City, her sister, Peggy Partridge and her husband Barry of Gibsonia, Pa., two nieces, Cassie Richards and Lindsay Millea, her nephew, Ross Partridge, six great nephews and her many beloved pets.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her niece, Danielle Bernard.</p><p><br></p><p>There will be a Celebration of Life for Pat on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Pulaski United Methodist Church, 120 Water St. Pulaski, Pa.</p><p><br></p><p>The family suggest that any memorial contributions may be made to the Adult Literacy of Lawrence County, 927 Moravia St. New Castle, Pa. 16101, or New Castle Public Library, 207 E.
