Willie James Simpkins Jr. PeeWee age 66 of Wewoka, departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 in Shawnee, OK. He was born February 19, 1954 in Cromwell, OK to the late Willie James Simpkins Sr. and Virgie Mae Hill Parker. He was a graduate of Butner High School and received a Bachelor's degree from South Eastern State College Durant, OK. He taught school for a number of years at Boley Training School.

Willie was a Baptist in faith. His hobbies were telling stories, making people laugh ,spending time with family and friends., He enjoyed cooking for his family.

Preceding Willie in death are his parents , three sisters Elizabeth Loving, Edverda Mae Hightower, and Patricia Beavers.

Those left to cherish Willie memories are two daughters Marilyn Simpkins, of Tulsa, Chamirra Ellison, Oklahoma City step-daughter Janice Barnett, Tulsa, OK, brothers Tommy Noble Sr. and wife Jolinda of Arcadia, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Chapel, with Pastor Kowetta Rogers officiating.
