Obituary
Lolly Shifflett, 84 year old Woodward resident, passed away September 30, 2020 in Woodward. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Eulalia Belle (Ferguson) Shifflett was born on February 7, 1936 in Rivera, California to Herbert and Bessie (Cadorph) Ferguson. Lolly grew up in the Putnum and Taloga, and the Seiling and Thomas area. She attended school in Seiling and Thomas and graduating from Thomas High School. Lolly was united in marriage to William (Duke) Gerald Shifflett on June 12, 1954. They made their first home in Oakwood, Oklahoma before moving 41 times including, Oklahoma Kansas, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Nebraska, Nevada, California, North Dakota, and Wyoming. They stayed the longest in Oakwood for 38 years. On her return to Woodward, Lolly helped open up Wal-Mart in the late 1970's.
She enjoyed woodworking, painting, and spending time in the shop. She also enjoyed her time spent with the seismograph crew, but loved raising her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by her husband William (Duke) Shifflett; two sons: Steven Shifflett, Kent Shifflett and wife Karen; one daughter, Vicki Robinson; seven grandchildren: DJ Robinson, Cory Robinson, Amanda Boggs, Todd Shifflett, Kelby Shifflett, Stephanie Cline, and Jennifer Morgan; seven great-grandchildren: Emma Cline, Eastlyn Cline, Aspen Boggs, Emery Boggs, Newly Boggs, Jaylee Morgan, and Josey Morgan; other relatives and many friends.
Lolly was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bessie Ferguson, six brothers, two sisters, one son, William (Sonny) Shifflett and son-in-law, Don Robinson.
