Joyce Beth Possien died peacefully Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Somerville, NJ. Joyce Beth was born in Plainfield, NJ on August 22, 1955. She resided in Warren, NJ, Brandon, Fl. and Berkeley Heights, NJ before moving to Stirling, NJ in 2000. She attended Seton Hall University and was a Registered Nurse. Caring for others was her calling whether they be humans or stray animals. Joyce Beth was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Stirling, loved gardening, reading, and enjoyed Long Beach Island and Florida. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Olafson, her son Thomas A. Jones and her daughter Danielle Strang. She is also survived by her sister Cota Possien-Kania and her husband Stephen, her nephew Edward, her grandchildren Brittany, David, Lane, Sydney, Clayton, Jackson, Kennedy, and her great-grandchildren Scarlett and Frankie. A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4-7 PM with a religious service at 6 PM. For more information and online condolences visit valleymemorialfuneralhome.net.
