Bettyann McCoy

Bettyann McCoy, 77, of Brooksville, Florida passed away on September 30, 2020, under the loving care of her family and HPH Hospice. She was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, and has lived back and forth from New Jersey and Florida, before permanently moving back to Brooksville in 2017. Before retirement, Bettyann was a reporter having worked for the Tampa Tribune and the Atlantic City Press. She enjoyed reading, working on puzzles and gardening. She is predeceased by her parents, Paul Norcross, Sara Norcross Haines and her step-father, Bill Haines Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 35 years, Aldo of Brooksville, FL; her son: Scott Doerr and his wife, Dawn of Brooksville, Fl; 2 Grandsons: Nick Doerr of Brooksville and Jason Doerr of Spring Hill, FL; her brother, Bill Haines and his wife, Nadine of NJ; her sister, Holly Haines of NJ and several nieces and nephews.
