NEW BEDFORD-Stacey R. (Hubbard) King, 57, of New Bedford, died Monday, September 28, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital following a brief illness. She was the wife of Wayne M. King, Sr., and daughter of Joyce (Thomas) Hubbard of New Bedford and the late Robert Hubbard. Born in Boston, Stacey resided in New Bedford for most of her life. She was employed at Lifestream as an administrative assistant for more than 21 years and was also employed as a sales clerk at Macy's and also as a home health aide. She was happiest when surrounded by her family especially her grandchildren. Her family includes her husband; her mother; 3 sons, Wayne M. Hubbard, Jr. and his companion, Monica Flores, Dominique D. King and Michael M. "Slick" King, all of New Bedford; 1 daughter, Tanica R. Hubbard of New Bedford; 4 brothers, Ronald Hubbard of Virginia, Kenneth "Butch" Hubbard and his wife, Darcy of Boston, David Hubbard of California and Robert "Haswaa" Hubbard of Boston; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many close personal friends and her family at Lifestream and Macy's. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Her service will be conducted during visitation at 3:30 P.M. Cremation to follow.
