Jerry Dean Cook, age 73, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Clinton, MD. He was born on May 26, 1947 in Orchard, Nebraska to Wesley and Twila Bradley Cook. He enlisted in the Navy in 1965 where he spent three years on active duty. He worked most of his life as a mechanic, working on cars and trucks. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Roselyn Cook; his siblings, Harley (Janet) of Hollywood, MD, Lynn of Albany, GA, Lyle (Joyce) of Cole Ridge, NE and Dale (Connie) Cook of Cavour, SD and Bonnie Jaqua of Sioux City, IA. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Jerry's Life Celebration at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon. Interment with US Navy Honors will take place on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1:45 p.m. in the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery Chapel.
