Freda Lee Cameron, 73, Indianapolis, passed away September 27, 2020. Mrs. Cameron was born February 23, 1947, in Harlan, Kentucky, to the late Fred and Lola (Bargo) Taylor. She was the youngest of nine children. Growing up in Indianapolis, Freda attended Emerich Manuel High School. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service after several years of employment. In her younger years, Freda enjoyed various types of crafts and more recently loved watching birds. She was a loving and proud grandmother and great grandma. Her memory will be cherished forever by her loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Allen Cameron and several of her siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Allison Smith; sons, Allen and James Cameron; brothers, Harold and Bill Taylor; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Visitation will not be observed. A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2020, at New Crown Cemetery, 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis.
