Barbara Hyatt Greenwell Goodwin, age 78 of Marston, NC passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.

Barbara was born April 27, 1942 in Dillon County, South Carolina, daughter of the late Danny Mac Hyatt and Mary Susie McCormick Dean, lovingly raised by the late Annie and Mark Stone. She was wife to the late Calvin Greenwell and also preceded in death by husband, Larry Goodwin. Barbara began her working career in customer service with Cato Store. She continued working many years for the Scotland County School System as a bus driver and served in the cafeteria. She was an avid reader and a court trial buff. Barbara always enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Along with her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by grandson, Larry Wayne McPherson; siblings, Mary Griggs, Robert McCormick and special family members, Ronnie Stone and Annie Mae Morton.

She leaves behind sons, Tony Bruce Goodwin, Larry “Brian” Goodwin, both of Marston; daughters, Lynn Rochelle Emanuel (Mark) of Shannon, Crystal Dawn Goodwin of Laurinburg; siblings, John Danford and Zelpha Johnson both of Laurinburg, her special family members, Johnny Ray Stone of Wallace, SC and Becky Chavis of Cheraw, SC; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of loving family and friends.

A Graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Hillside Memorial Park.
