Ida passed away Sunday, September, 27, 2020 at the Marian Manor in Glen Ullin. Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. This is Ida Roth Sailer. She entered this world on February 6, 1927, the youngest of seven children, born to John and Wilhelmina Roth. On December 16, 1951, Ida was united in marriage to Wilbert Sailer. Hebron became their home where they raised four children. Judy (Doug Martin), Gary (Shelley Tibor), Brenda (Tim Tkach) and Scott (Lisa Portscheller). One of Ida’s favorite roles was that of grandma to Kristi (Dean Wehri), Kari, Kory (Samantha Morgan), and Kody Martin. Lee Ann (Travis Hoff), Alicia (Craig Enderle), and Samantha Sailer. Another favorite role was great grandma to Michael, McKenzi (Zach Krein), and Maci Wehri. Britny, Landon, and Connor Hoff. Brycen and Brayden Enderle. Arianna and Evynn Martin. Never one to let grass grow under her feet, Ida was a daycare provider, active in her church, and worked for various businesses in the community. Ida loved to garden, can (the family really loved her pickles), quilt, sew, read, and go camping. Known for being strong willed and feisty, she is a survivor living with cancer, an aneurysm, and ultimately Alzheimer’s. In September of 2017, Ida became a resident of Marian Manor Nursing Home in Glen Ullin, where on September 27, 2020, she left to be reunited with her parents and siblings, August, Ella, Freida, Alwina, Robert, and Clarence. Also waiting to greet her, with a bear hug and a big smile, is her great-grandson Michael.
