Mr. Raymond J. Piazza, 84, of Salisbury Center died Friday, September 25th, 2020 at his son’s home in Bloomingburg, NY. Born on January 2, 1936 in Parkridge, NJ, he was the son of Robert Piazza and Angela Maggiolo. He was a graduate of Teaneck High School in New Jersey, Class of 1953. Ray was a Construction Supervisor in the City of New York, having worked for HRH Construction, Rizzil Construction, both of NYC and at one time VRH Construction Co. in NJ. He was last employed in that same capacity for the Tishman Construction Co. NYC, retiring in 2005. He was also The City of New York Dept. of Buildings Site Safety Manager. On May 3, 1958 in Teaneck, NJ Ray was married to Carole J. Mende. Since 1999 Ray along with his wife, Carole operated Journey’s End Antiques & Collectibles from their home in The Town of Salisbury. The couple enjoyed traveling to many antique shows and events over the years, building their collection. His brother, Robert Piazza and sister, Eileen Bonin predeceased him. Mr. Piazza is survived by his wife, Carole Piazza; sons, Raymond E. Piazza and Patricia, Scott T. Piazza and Adrienne; grandsons, Thomas Piazza, Douglas Piazza.
