Vincent Freeman Anderson Obituary

It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Vincent Freeman Anderson of Burin announces his passing. Vincent passed away at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Saturday, September 26th 2020 at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his siblings, Joyce Broydell (Benjamin) of London, ON, Don Anderson (Bernice) of Halifax, Harvey Anderson (Amelia) of Burin, Frazer Anderson (Elaine) of Burin, Doris Dober (Raymond) of Marystown, and Debbie Lambe (Fred) of Guelph, ON; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Kitchener and Evelyn Anderson; brother, George Anderson; and sisters, Mary Simms, and Jessie Denty.


The Anderson Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Burin on Saturday, September 26th from 7-9 pm and Sunday, September 27th from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.

Due to the rules and regulations of COVID-19 this will be a walk through visitation and we can accommodate 20 visitors in the funeral home at one time. Please note that there is no food or beverages permitted in the funeral home as well.

Funeral Service will take place at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Burin on Monday, September 28th at 12pm.

Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Burin.


In Vincent’s memory donations may be made to The Anglican Cemetery Fund in Burin.
