Linda Ann Briley passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 70. She was born the daughter of Harold and Winifred (Wonderly) Van Pelt on July 9, 1950 in Greeley, Colorado. On November 2, 1968, she and Lin M. Briley were united in marriage in Wellington, Kansas. Together they celebrated 51 years of marriage. Linda worked for many years as an office administrator at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Linda loved being a wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed anytime spent with her family. She will be missed by all that loved and knew her. Survivors included her husband, Lin Briley of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Tara Huck of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Melissa Sprueill and husband Tim of Stillwater, Oklahoma, grandchildren: Cassandra Huck of Wellington, Kansas, Ashleigh Huck and Sabastian Fletcher of Wellington, Kansas, Dylan Sprueill and wife Jessie of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Briley Sprueill of Stillwater, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Braxen Caudillo and Kasten Sprueill along with a brother, Larry Van Pelt and wife Donna of Wellington, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Pamela Sue. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020 in Sumner Memorial Gardens, Wellington, Kansas.
