It is with great sorrow that we join the Best Family in announcing the death of Bessie Mae Sharperson Best, 71, of Jacksonville, who departed this life on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Premier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jacksonville. Bessie will be forever cherished by: one daughter, Angelia "Angie" Bagley-Smith (David) of Raleigh and two (2) Grandchildren. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be holding a Service to Celebrate her Life once social distancing guidelines are amended and her service can be accommodating to a larger number of attendees.
