Ezequiel Ferreira Aguiar

Ezequiel Ferreira Aguiar, 85, of Central Ave., East Providence, passed away peacefully with his family at his side at home Thursday evening, September 24, 2020. He was the husband of Maria daLuz Medeiros Leite Aguiar. Born March 31, 1935 in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late Manuel Ferreira and Maria Espirito Santo Ferreira. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church. In addition to his wife of 49 years, he leaves his 5 children, Joao Aguiar, Jorge Aguiar, Maria Palrao, Christina Aguiar and Michael Aguiar; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Selena, Erica, Felicia, Michael, Justin, Adriana, Jelina, Devin, and Nathan; and 5 great grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Izabella, Savannah, Jaxtyn and Elijah. He was the brother of the late Jose, Fatima and Zelia Ferreira. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 9am in St. Francis Xavier Church, 81 North Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will take place Tuesday in church before Mass from 8am until 9am. Following the guidelines of the RIDOH, social distancing and wearing of masks is required.
