Karen Burke Spencer, 55, Unicoi, TN passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Hospice House of Bristol in Bristol, TN.
She was born on May 9, 1965 in Sullivan County, TN to the late Robert H.C. and Willie Madge (Salyer) Burke.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Owen “Brad” Spencer, Unicoi, TN; daughter, Sarah Hillman and husband, Clint, Gate City, VA; son, Robert Spencer, Unicoi, TN; sister, Helen Burke and husband, Billy, Nickelsville, VA; brothers, Donnie Burke and wife, Carolyn, Smithfield, VA, Gary Burke and wife, Tammy, Smithfield, VA; nephew, Jody Burke and niece, Lori Burke.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Myers Vicars officiating. Greg and Becky White will provide the music
.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Temple Hill Memorial Gardens, Castlewood, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 11:45 a.m. on Sunday.

She fought hard against her illness but she doesn’t have to be sick anymore.
