Stephen Wayne Carter, 43, of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. David Mackens officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Stephen entered this life on January 8, 1977 in Houston County, TN. He attended Montgomery Central High School and Tarsus Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Oliver Carter; paternal grandparents, Troy and Mary Trotter Carter, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Edward and Madolyn Crawford Conatser. Stephen is survived by his mother, Nancy Conatser Carter; sister, Christina (Kenneth) Brown; nephew, Tyler Thornton, and nieces, Alexandra Thornton, and Sydney Spencer.
