James Travis Price

James Travis Price, age 31, of Granville, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020. James was born in Morgantown on November 14, 1988, a son of James Alan Price of Granville and Victoria Garvin Price of Lumberport. James worked as a landscaper for Biafore Landscaping. While attending UHS, James was on the football team and wrestled. He enjoyed being outdoors and attending and watching WVU football games with Uncle Lanny; but his greatest time was spent being with his family. James is survived by his mother, Victoria Price and boyfriend James Davis of Lumberport; father, James Price and fiancée Wendy High of Granville; daughter, Aviana Fergusen of TN; sister, Taylor Price of Morgantown; brother, Christopher W. Stanfill of Clarksburg; nephew and niece, Isaac and Hailey; two step-sisters: Laura and Meranda Cool; one step-brother: Brandon High; paternal grandparents, Lance and Diana Deavers; Uncle and Aunt, Lance E. and Shelly Deavers; and Uncle and Aunt Jimmy and Glenda Palmer. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Shirley Blake and Paul Garvin; and Uncle Raymond F. Price. McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Sunday, September 27, from 1pm until the 3pm memorial service with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Due to COVID-19, masks are required.
